Be: displays Autumn Winter collection
The trendy and the fashion conscious Delhiites are always
on a shopping spree to update their wardrobe with latest
style and design and the launch of any collection is,
therefore, an exciting event.
On September 10, when the Be:, the designer prêt
wear store from the house of Raymond launched its Autumn
Winter collection for 2004, it was given a warm welcome.
The three-year old design store, which has some of India's
best designers, has successfully introduced design that
had set trend for the season.
The latest collection of Be:, one of the largest retail
pret chains in India, has introduced two brand new prêt
categories that would bring both style and attitude to
the people. "To cater to popular demand we have
also increased our club wear collection and are now also
introducing plus sizes and special plus collections at
Be:. With the introduction of these categories, we are
expanding our customer base by making sure that Be: is
truly prêt for everyone," says Aniruddha Deshmukh,
Vice President, Be:.
The GenNow girls believe in flaunting their feminity
and probably to cater to their needs, Be: has come up
with bias skirts, ghagra skirts, washed slim fit shirts,
tunics, blousons tops. Priyadarshini Rao, who exclusively
designs prêt women's wear for Be: has moved from
casual linens to lustrous silks with her signature 'city
gypsy' style. The designer for the first time has also
come up with ethnicwear for men that includes bias shirts
and lounge pants.
Manish Arora who has tied up with Maria Luisa of Paris
for their Spring-Summer 2004 collection has designed
body hugging silhouettes with fitting corsets for Be:.
The collection has too preppy denims, crisp shirts, dungarees
and printed tees by perfectionist Puja Nayyar. Designer
Wendell Rodericks will introduce plus sizes at Be: using
fluid, loose and asymmetrical silhouettes.
Designer accessories including Rajesh Pratap footwear
and richly designed Priyadarshini Rao bags will now be
available.
